How To Un-Shrink Clothes And Reverse Laundry Mistakes

Any of us has experienced shrinking clothes at least once, either because the fabrics are delicate or because you forgot to set a low temperature. It is good to know that some simple tricks can undo the shrinkage.

It may sound weird, but the baby shampoo and the hair conditioner can do wonders for shrunken clothes.
Unshrinking your clothes is as easy as:

๐Ÿ”น Add the “ruined” clothing item to a basin with hot water and a cup of baby shampoo or hair conditioner.

๐Ÿ”น Soak it for 10-15 minutes.

๐Ÿ”น Then dry the clothing item with a towel and stretch it on a horizontal surface until it dries.

The hair conditioner will flatten the fibers and make them return to their original size. Besides acting as a natural conditioner, it also protects the clothes, allowing them to regain their original size.

Another simple remedy is to use baking soda and vinegar.

๐Ÿ”ธ Pour 2 tablespoons of baking soda into 1/4 gallon of hot water and let it dissolve.

๐Ÿ”ธ Let the clothing item soak in this solution for an hour.

๐Ÿ”ธ Then mix the vinegar with another 1/4 gallon of water and rinse the clothing item in it.
