How To Un-Shrink Clothes And Reverse Laundry Mistakes

Shrunken clothes are one of the problems that any of us has faced at least once, either because the fabrics are delicate or because you forgot to set a low temperature. The good news is that they can be un-shrunk with some easy tricks.

It may sound weird, but the baby shampoo and the hair conditioner can do wonders for shrunken clothes.
All that you have to do to un-shrink your clothes is:

Put hot water in basin with a cup of baby shampoo or hair conditioner and add the “ruined” clothing item in it. Let it soak for 10-15 minutes. Then dry the clothing item with a towel and stretch it on a horizontal surface until it dries.

The hair conditioner will flatten the fibers and make them return to their original size. They act as a natural conditioner and protect the clothes, helping them to regain their original size.

Another simple remedy is to use baking soda and vinegar. Pour 2 tablespoons of baking soda into 1 liter of hot water and let it dissolve. Put the clothing item in this solution and let it soak for 1 hour. Then mix the vinegar with the other liter of water and rinse the clothing item in it.
