How To Remove Burnt-On Grease From The Oven Glide Racks

Trying to remove grease from the kitchen can be quite a challenge, and often it does not yield the desired results.

One of the hardest kitchen objects to clean is the oven. The stove acts like a magnet, attracting all the dirt, dust, and smoke, which eventually turns into burnt-on grease. And this grease is impossible to clean with a normal sponge!

The problem can be solved, however, in an effective manner. All you need is a large pot and baking soda.

◾ The first step is to fill the pot with water. Put the pot on the stove and bring it to a boil.

◾ Take baking soda (for a larger pot, use one cup of baking soda and for a smaller one, half a cup will be enough) and put it in the boiling water. Baking soda should be poured slowly.

◾ Put the glide rack in the pot once the baking soda has dissolved, and let it boil for about 30 minutes until any grease is removed.

◾ If the pot does not fit the glide rack, repeat the process by turning the grill on several sides.

◾ It is not necessary to rub, you should not exert any effort. Just follow the directions above and the glide rack will clean itself!

That’s all! All you have to do is clean the pot after you’ve finished the process.
