How to quickly clean the bathtub without resorting to chemicals

Chemical products used to clean bathtubs attack the enamel, resulting in a loss of gloss. Furthermore, they are toxic to both humans and the environment. Here are two natural solutions you can prepare at home to clean your bathtub.

⚪ Baking soda cleaning paste

Bathtub stains seem difficult to remove? You don’t have to turn to chemicals to get rid of them. You only need to prepare a baking soda and lemon solution.

◾ Mix 6 tablespoons of baking soda with three tablespoons of lemon juice and apply this solution to the tub.

◾ Let it sit for 20-30 minutes, then wipe with a sponge dipped in lemon juice.

◾ Thoroughly rinse the tub.

🟢 Vinegar-based solution

◾ Vinegar is also an effective solution for cleaning and disinfecting bathtubs.

◾ Mix one quart of vinegar with half a gallon of water and add two tablespoons of baking soda to this mixture.

◾ Mix well and pour the concoction into a spray bottle.

◾ Spritz the solution thoroughly on the entire bathtub surface and leave it on for 40-60 minutes.

◾ Use a sponge to clean the bathtub and then rinse it thoroughly with warm water.

Besides cleaning and disinfecting the bathtub, the solution can also be used to remove mold between tile joints.
